Today lets take a look at the official Blackout Meteor Client Add-On Download!
Self described as: “An addon for Meteor client that adds a variety of new/improved features to the Meteor client such as a new and improved CrystalAura, BedAura, PacketFly and a lot of new things to push you above the competition.”
Blackout was started on the 15th of October 2022 as a private addon, later, on the First of January 2023 it would be released to the public for free.
The addon currently has over 1900 downloads and as previously mentioned Blackout currently supports 1.19.4 but will likely be updated for Minecraft 1.20 in the near future.
Here are some modules offered by the client
Crystal Aura
This module is a rewrite of the meteor client’s Auto Crystal, The rewrite offers a lot more settings and it functions much better than the original meteor client crystal aura.
Bed Aura
This module automatically places and right clicks on beds to blow them up,
The module once again has more settings and functions better than the meteor client’s equivalent.
Anchor Aura Plus
This module has less settings than the meteor client’s equivalent and while the module works It is only slightly more powerful than the meteor clients built in module.
Hole Snap
This module snaps you into a safe hole, the module works well and It saved me on a few occasions.
Kill Aura Plus
This module again has less settings than the meteor clients built in kill aura, but this version of the module works a lot better when you are in crystal combat.
Surround Plus
This module places obsidian around your feet to create a safe hole, the module is fast, reliable and is definitely better than the meteor client surround module.
Packetfly
This module allows you to fly and phase through blocks using packets, it actually worked fairly well, it did not work on one of the servers I tested it on but it still functions better than the meteor clients flight, in packet mode.
Overall Blackout is a great addon especially for pvp modules,
Kassuk the owner of blackout asked me not to review the piston crystal module, he told me that it is still being worked on, but he did say that he thinks it’s going to be one of the best when it’s finished!
